Money and know-how to make your playground dreams come true

Volunteer - Lend a hand to a project near you.

No Experience Necessary!

Don't worry -- you don't have to know the first thing about building a playground to volunteer your time and sweat. Part of the community-build philosophy is the belief that every community has within it the resources, the skills and the materials to create positive change. Even if you've never so much as picked up a shovel, you'll be able to help bring a community's playground dream to life.

Testimonial
It is tough for me to list just one highlight of the day, as the entire day is a highlight in my life. I know that sounds cheesy but it really was amazing. I loved the small town feel—how all of the companies and families present seemed to know each other, how the children participated with pride always asking ‘what can I do next?' and how everyone came together to build something beautiful. — PTO member Pennies For Playground
How You Can Help

There are two ways to get involved. You can RSVP if you're interested in showing up on Build Day and lending a hand for an unforgettable day of community service. Whether you're mixing concrete or painting benches, all you need to build a Dream Playground is a smile and a can-do spirit.

Or, if you want to play a key role in the months leading up to Build Day, you can ask to join a Planning Team. The playground may get built in one day, but it takes many months of planning to make a playground dream come true. Whether you want to get press for the project or plan an awesome fundraiser, there are many ways to offer a helping hand.

Are you a Do-It-Yourself playground Builder? Let's Play Compelition Grants will be awarded to communities that build a playground in 2012 and would like to make additional improvements.
